Koch Nitrogen Company, LLC owns and operates facilities in Oklahoma, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska which produce anhydrous ammonia, UAN and urea. Koch Fertilizer Canada ULC, operates a production facility in Brandon, Manitoba, which produces primarily anhydrous ammonia, ammonium nitrate, UAN and urea. In addition, Koch Fertilizer, LLC owns storage and terminal assets in northwest Europe with trading offices in Switzerland, France and United Kingdom.Koch Nitrogen Company, LLC is looking for a Reliability Electrician/Instrument Technician to join our team in Dodge City, Kansas. The successful candidate will be working in all plants and utilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment and willing to train in instrumentation technical work.
Requirements • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds • Ability to climb stairs and ladders and work at heights exceeding 100ft • Must be able and willing to work outdoors in all types of weather • Must be able to pass a pulmonary breathing test, wear a gas mask type respirator and full Level A PPE • Available for shift work • Available for emergency call-outs as well as scheduled and unscheduled overtime • Excellent work ethic • Must be a team player • Strong safety knowledge/culture • Working knowledge of electrical construction, including running conduit and pulling wire • High School Diploma or G.E.D. Preferred • Formal electrical training on low, medium, and high voltage systems including switchgear • 2 year Electrical/Instrumentation Technical Degree We are an equal opportunity employer.
