Our associate resource groups (ARGs) create a sense of community and help us build a culture of inclusion where all WellPoint associates feel welcomed and respected and where our differences and similarities help drive our business success. By 2010, seven ARGs had formed at WellPoint including Associate Network for Gay & Lesbian Equality (ANGLE). These ARGs support our efforts to recruit, retain, engage and develop diverse talent. The associate resource groups also benefit the individuals who join by providing a unique opportunity to add value to our business while enhancing their careers. Some other groups are: African American, Women in Leadership, Hispanic, Veterans and Associates with Disabilities.
