Camille S. Hopkins recently relocated to Portland, Oregon after working as a Planner for the City of Buffalo for 21 years. She transitioned gender in 2002, working with management and human resources to address employer/employee concerns.
Camille has consulted and advised numerous employers and gender variant employees since her successful workplace transition. She has assisted multiple organizations such as CitiGroup, New York State Dept. of Transportaion, Batavia Public Schools and Child & Family Services.
Camille received the Buffalo/Niagara All-America City “Civic Empowerment Award” in 2005 and the Empire State Pride Agenda Foundation Community Service Award in 2003. She currently sits on the Advisory Board of the National Center for Transgender Equality.
