About Me

I am an information systems director with comprehensive business/technical expertise which includes system implementations, business intelligence application development, business process automation, enterprise application integration, project management, and vendor relationships.

My field of expertise encompasses both established and start-up companies.  I have worked in an inter-governmental organization and was a key team member responsible for its successful transition into a private company which is now the leading provider of fixed satellite services worldwide.  I most recently served as IT lead at a start-up subsidiary creating systems that supported its growth into a successful, $400M business.

Highlights of my professional background include:

·      Over six years experience designing, developing and implementing cost-effective IT infrastructure and operations for an independently operated start-up subsidiary to a global telecommunications organization which has seen four-fold growth in staffing and revenue,  with related increases in both operational and IT complexity, in the five years since creation.

·      Over ten years experience in managing the overall strategy, development, budget, vendor contracts, staff resources and implementation of CRM, ERP and Sales/Marketing/Business Intelligence applications.

·      Over 12 years experience serving as the liaison between the business functional users and IT technical developers to document system requirements and ensure delivery of systems which align to operational and strategic goals.

·      Experience as both program manager and system administrator for enterprise system implementations; including back-end integration, business intelligence/data warehouse and reporting systems.

·      Knowledge of a broad range of business activities, with an emphasis on support for sales, marketing and business intelligence objectives, from which to design and manage innovative, cost-effective solutions that meet business needs and that adhere to IT standards, policies and processes.

·      Management and implementation of IT SOX controls and IT policies/procedures which maintain an effective, efficient and transparent IT organization.
