James Tate

About Me

I am currently in Washington, DC fulfilling an internship with the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) through the UT Systems Bill Archer Fellowship Program, and will return in mid-December to graduate from the University of Texas at Dallas.  I have always felt that communication is the fundamental platform for the success of any position - in any organization. I pride myself on 14 years of client and sales service, and attribute my success to communicating effectively. In any field of occupation, having the capacity to work independently and at the same time be an instrumental player in a team makes for a productive working environment, and thus a productive organization. I am a motivated self-starter and see the "bigger picture" of my position. I monitor and adjust easily to situations and work well under pressure. I am bilingual in Spanish, have a rich - diverse background and work experience to bring to my position, and I aspire to motivate those around me.

My Interests

I am very eager to acquire a position where I can utilize my knowledge and experience in sales and promotion, expertise in social networking and client relations, administration and management.
