· Served as acting team lead of Point of Sale team. Coordinated and assigned work requests, supervised developers and testers, and chaired weekly meetings to prioritize program releases. Represented the Point of Sale development team to leadership by participating in weekly status reviews and meeting with other Goodyear department managers to prioritize work requests to best meet the needs of the customer. · Perform migration and deployment of developer code in COBOL and Java environments. Wrote UNIX shell scripts to automate the elevating of developer’s code to Quality Assurance team, thus shortening the time needed to release code to production. Responsible for building of software releases, transmission of releases, process monitoring, freezing of code / version control, maintaining test systems and SOX compliance.
· Technical lead for Point of Sale development for third party contract developers. Perform IT coordinator role for work requests, creating sizings, estimates, analysis and coordinating the development work for the Point of Sale system.
· Senior Point of Sale developer leading the coding for the implementation of a unit-cost inventory management enhancement requested by Goodyear tire dealers.
