As the workplace becomes increasingly global, employers are confronting the challenge of providing a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for LGBT employees around the world in differing cultural and legal environments.  Building on more than 10 years of experience in the global arena, Out & Equal is expanding its Global Initiatives program to provide new leadership and support for multinational companies and NGOs to advance LGBT workplace equality on a global scale.  Our current initiatives include:

LGBTQ Workplace Inclusion Forums

Out & Equal’s Global Forum Series brings together executives and LGBT leaders to network and share best practices in LGBT workplace equality, with a focus on the challenges and opportunities in a specific country or region.  Recent Global Forums have taken place in India, Brazil, and Eastern Europe. Upcoming forums include:

• LGBTQ Workplace Inclusion Forum (Bangalore) | August 2, 2018 | Bangalore, India

Global Fellowship Program

The Out & Equal Global Fellowship Program is a five week intensive Out & Equal experience for visiting international fellows from outside the U.S. to empower, inspire and train them to become leaders for LGBT workplace equality in their country.

Global Webinars

Out & Equal holds bi-monthly, country and topic-specific, globally themed webinars with representatives of multinational companies addressing key LGBT workplace equality issues and best practices around the world.

Global Partner Network

Out & Equal’s Global Partner Network is made up of active LGBT NGOs or partners – local subject matter experts – in countries and regions around the world with which Out & Equal partners to educate, convene and further LGBT workplace equality.

Global Rapid Response Network

The Global Rapid Response Network is a virtual network designed to connect companies hoping to advance LGBTQ equality around the world and to allow Out & Equal to provide our partners with relevant, up-to-date information needed to respond to discriminatory actions agains the LGBTQ community.

As Out & Equal global partners expand and the number of international Summit attendees grows, we are constantly evolving our Summit content to meet the increasingly global needs of Summit attendees.

Global Resource Guide

An in-depth look at the challenges and opportunities for LGBT workplace equality in Brazil, Russia, India, and China. We offer an analysis of the current situation in each country and link to multiple research reports.

Global Advisory Committee

The Global Advisory Committee is a primary source of leadership and guidance on how Out & Equal provides support globally on LGBT workplace equality, The Committee meets on a bi-monthly basis.
